The Bible repeatedly uses “father,” “husband,” “bride” and “child” analogies to demonstrate God’s relationship with the church and his followers. There is no better example of the unconditional love God has for us than what we are instructed to have for our spouse and children. Building upon these themes, Love Worth Fighting For is a marriage event, featuring teaching by Kirk Cameron and music by Warren Barfield, designed to strengthen and encourage your marriage.
About Kirk Cameron
Following the success of his 1980s hit television show, Growing Pains, Kirk Cameron married actress Chelsea Noble and started a family. Today the father of six is an outspoken believer and has starred in the Left Behind movie series as well as the widely acclaimed movie Fireproof that was released in theaters nationwide this past year.
About Warren Barfield
North Carolina-born singer/songwriter Warren Barfield is on a mission to make the truly important things important again in his life. Things like faith, love, marriage, children, truth, and with his songs, he challenges us all to do the same. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “If a man hasn’t discovered something that he will die for, he isn’t fit to live.” Warren has found those things in his faith, his wife, and his belief in love. “These are the things I would die for; things I will wake up every morning andspend my day fighting for.”
My wife and I were at your conference in Columbus Saturday. I have to admit I didn’t 100% want to be there but I am glad I went. This was a great tool and stepping stone for my wife and my marriage. We married young, she was 18 & I was 20. We just had our first child 5 years ago after we were told we could have kids… I guess God showed the doctors who was in charge… we have struggled from time to time, but it was nice to know that we weren’t the only ones who had the “pretzel fight”. We have learned and come along way. We can not thank you enough for this. Keep up the good work you two!

Thanks so much for entertaining me for years with “Growing Pains” . I’m looking forward to spending some quality time with my spouse and participating in your marriage event. I definitely know first hand how to not give up on my marriage and press on ! Fireproof is one of my favorite movies! That movie keeps me grounded and reminds me of what’s important….

I went to the conference in Orlando last Saturday July 30th, it was amazing! My husband & I bought some T-shirts that said “I LOVE MY HUSBAND & MY WIFE ROCKS” we would like to know, where can we purchase more of these t-shirts for a couple freind of ours?
Hello! I wanted to say Thank you for bringing this event to Alvin TX Sat 2/11/12. My husband and I got married yesterday 2/12/12 and we spent our wedding eve at the event just soaking up the words of wisdom needed to start our marriage and make it successful. I even ended my wedding vows with “I always promise to remember that our love is worth fighting for.” God has blessed us with each other and now I know many more blessings are to come as we are “heirs” together.
We attended last night and loved it! Good work guys!
I have been married 28 years. We have been together since high school and nobody thought it would last we only heard that we were too young. We are (still)very much in love and look forward to learning how to strengthen our bond with each other even more. We will be attending your event on July 28th in Ashburn, Virginia. Can’t wait!
Thank you, Mr. Cameron and Mr. Barfield, for investing your time and energy into preserving marriage and family values! It is so needed!! God bless you ministries!
